CODEX MUNDI · LIBER PRIMUS
Psychic
Children of the Liminal Ocean
Before the continent of Psychic, the world had no body — only the infinite Liminal Ocean, a pure ether condensed from the collective unconscious. Upon its surface gathered great bodies of force, the Archetypes. They tossed with the waves, colliding, mingling, threading and fusing, and so begot psychotropism — a centripetal pull. One day that pull broke the tension of the sea, and the first material stone evolved from the liquid of the unconscious — the foundation-stone of Psychic. From the risen rock there grew eight dimensional anchors: the original grounds of the eight realms.
It hath no centre for every reach of its briny vast in, is its very heart.
It knoweth no temporal bound for it is the sum of what was, what is, and what shall be.
It breatheth no ordinance for It is the primal void whence all laws first drew breath.
